My love affair with food began when I was a young boy. My mother was a wonderful cook, she
could do magic in the kitchen. And, boy, did I take notes. I came to be a foodie naturally. I went
into the family poultry business right from high school. Through the years, the business grew
and evolved into two distinct divisions— the gifts division, Schaul’s Signature Gourmet Foods,
and the catering division, Schaul’s Signature Cuisine & Events.
People are really the foundation of our business—courteous, passionate food and event
professionals who create extraordinary menus for the unique event envisioned by our
customer. It is their dream, their vision and oh so personal! And, the real joy comes when
we bring that to life. Their smile lets us know we nailed it.
I earned my MBA in Marketing from DePaul this business. Cindy and i have been married
for 37 years. We have 5 children and 7 grandchildren. My hobbies include the grandkids,
hockey and golf.
